As we all make the switch to at-home and distance learning due to the pandemic, an amazing variety of educational digital resources for students, teachers, and parents has become available. While some of these were already offered by our library, a number of them are now being made available, at no cost to you or the library, to supplement learning for all ages.

eLibrary Minnesota (ELM)
Any Minnesota resident can access this wealth of resources available from the state of Minnesota, including Encyclopedia Britannica, a collection of eBooks for all ages, and a number of research tools for elementary, middle, high school, and college students.
Junior Library Guild
Free digital access to Junior Library Guild’s collection of elementary, middle, and high school eBook and eAudiobook collections.
Kanopy Great Courses
Already offered through our library, Great Courses and many other documentaries are available with your Red Wing Public library card number.
Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. Khan Academy is a free resource, but users will need to create an account as a parent, teacher, or learner.

Minecraft Education Collection
Explore real worlds through Minecraft! Now through June 30, Minecraft has made a number of their educational programs available, for free, to kids at home. Explore the International Space Station, learn about marine biology, complete building challenges, and much more.
